Baby or Child dedication is a ceremony typically held in a church setting where parents present their child to God & the church, expressing their commitment to raise the child in a faith-centered environment. This act symbolizes the parents’ intention to nurture their child's spiritual growth and values according to the Bible. Unlike infant baptism, which isn’t a choice a baby can make, dedication focuses on the parents' responsibility and the church community’s role in supporting the family's journey to follow Jesus.
